Spooky Recipes

Marinaded, Grilled Shrimp: Place raw shrimp in either a tight sealing plastic bag, plastic or glass container with a tight covering.  Pour Spooky All Bloody Mary Mix (your choice of Original, Friendly, or Horseradish) into container, coating all the shrimp.  Let sit for 30 minutes in refrigerator.  Remove shrimp from container, put each shrimp onto a skewer and grill, or broil until shrimp is cooked completely.  Baste with marinade while grilling or broiling, discard marinade.

Grilled Vegetables:  Wash and slice your favorite vegetables to grill or roast.  (Red, yellow peppers, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, whatever you like.)  Place vegetables in container and pour Spooky Bloody Mary Mix to cover all, and seal tightly.  Marinate for 30 minutes.  Remove vegetables from marinade, place on foil, or skewer, or in a grilling basket, or roasting pan, and then grill or broil.  Once grilled or roasted, put veggies on:

  • Toasted bread
  • Rice
  • Pasta
  • Large leaf of lettuce for a wrap

Pulled Beef or Pork

Dredge beef or pork roast with flour, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper.  Heat 1 Tbs olive or canola oil in in fry pan, sear beef or pork on all sides.  Place roast in crock-pot for 2 hours on high, then turn to low and cook for additional 6 hours.  Remove meat.  Cut off and discard fat.  Pull  beef or pork apart and return to crock-pot.  Add  enough Spooky Bloody Mary mix to cover meat (Original, Friendly, or Horseradish), stir thoroughly and heat through. Generously spoon mixture on to buns, top with additional sauce as desired.

Serve with potato chips and coleslaw, or potato salad.

Use Spooky Sauce in place of your favorite barbecue
sauce, on grilled vegetables, or pulled pork.
